Illustrations

Im trying to be productive, even though i work full time as a Fashion Designer for a brand, my aim is to come home each day and do something creative with my time rather then slum in front of the TV with a cup of tea and milka daim (my fav!) This includes my blog, drawings and paintings. So recently I've been starting to sketch illustrations to put on here and my portfolio to show something other then my flat CAD's (computer aided designs)...

Can you get creative after 9 hours at work? I think im getting there....

Todd Lynn, Backstage.

Outfits ready to go... and how to be dressed on each model

Recently i worked backstage for Todd Lynn at London Fashion Week, which was surprisingly eye opening and gave just a small insight into what one day i would love to finally do (as per first blog post)...
The clothes were amazing, finely tailored and draped to create beautiful outfits and the show piece, designed with a jewellery designer was definitely a head turner.
Todd Lynn was calm and relaxed as he interviewed with German Vogue and a few bloggers; but mentioned not posting before the catwalk went live.
The models trickled into the room and were immediately put into chairs to have make-up, hair and nails done all at once..... this was definitely interesting.

Would you work London Fashion Week backstage given the chance?

First Model in the chair, 13 hairdressers/nail artists/make-up artists

The beautiful Showpiece

Ashley Isham

I was lucky enough to get hold of some Ashley Isham London Fashion Week tickets which was held in the beautiful Goldsmiths Hall, St Pauls, London.
Ashley Isham is well known for both tailoring and draping and showed a highly desirable collection of embellished dresses and leather tailoring i need for my wardrobe! The show was attended by the crazily amazing Pandemonia and T4's Jameela.

Did you go to London Fashion Week?
